Progress, pylons and Phase 2 planning

Despite all of the slush and snow, we got to spend Friday working in the sun. You may have observed crews out working on sidewalks and removing bus shelters at various locations throughout the week, marked off by pylons or small sections of construction fencing.

Neighbourhood Pre-Construction Meeting

On Tuesday, March 5, 2019, the project team and I will be hosting a Phase 2 Pre-Construction Meeting at Tap Centre for Creativity located at 203 Dundas. We'll be sharing what we learned in 2018, what to expect in 2019 and be available to answer your questions about construction. Dundas Place residents, business owners and interested neighbours are all invited to get information about:

  • 2019 construction schedule

  • Parking and loading

  • Garbage and recycling

  • Accessibility during construction

  • New navigation tools

  • Upcoming events

You'll find a copy of the meeting notice posted on Dundas Street in a few spots between Wellington and Richmond. Moving forward, keep an eye out for our construction notice signs downtown to find out more about Dundas Place and other planned core construction work this season.

Crews are also ramping up for JUNO Week, adjusting some of the flex elements before all of the activities begin. Stay tuned for road closure and Dundas Place programming announcements coming your way soon.

That's all for now! We encourage you to share the news about our pre-construction meeting with your neighbours, and let us know you're coming by clicking "going" on our Facebook Event.
