Crews getting ready for concrete and a few new finds

If one were to describe the sidewalk through the Dundas Place construction zone this past week, they may have referred to it as a maze. There's still more sidewalk disruptions to come, but luckily the majority of underground pipe work is now complete. We appreciate everyone who took the time to either check the pedestrian navigation maps, call ahead or share information with their customers over the last month with so many of these temporary sidewalk closures in place.

The good news: crews have shifted their operations to begin preparing for the next stage of construction which includes concrete work!

The crews have been making progress with trench drain installations and forming the concrete bases needed for street lights...

...and things are moving smoothly over on Market Lane. The crew has finished the duct work and started irrigation work. Concrete work is scheduled for next week at this location.

A few new finds

Did you notice that the pillars installed in the planter boxes near Ridout Street are sporting a dark finish? The colour of these fixtures will change over time to offer more of a bold visual contrast. You'll also notice some new art above Cash Money at 158 Dundas - stay tuned for more details about this beautiful new addition coming soon from your Dundas Place Manager!

Ready for Some New Radio Ads?

On Friday, a couple members of of the Dundas Place community volunteered to help record some new core construction radio ads, along with some of their neighbours. These new ads will go live on local radio stations next week!

"Everybody's working for the weekend!"

...Well, we are anyways! Crews will once again be working on Saturday in order to prepare for concrete work next week. Thinks are rockin' and rollin' onsite, and we really do appreciate your patience through it all!
