Doors Open & Detours on Dundas Place

The main focus on Dundas Place this week and next is sidewalk removal and concrete placement. As we transition from the former pavement to the new pavement, we will have some obstacles impacting those walking and/or rolling through the construction zone.

It's important that we maintain access to businesses so you will encounter lots of plywood ramps along the way.

If you are unsure how to get to your destination, please do not hesitate to ask one of the construction workers on site. We will try our best to help you navigate the site and get you where you need to go.

Crews have brought back access through Market Lane. Work is not 100% complete but all of the brick work is done and Market Lane is now seamlessly connected to Dundas Place.

Meanwhile, over on Dundas, between Clarence and Wellington Street, underground work is still underway. As a result, Wellington Street is currently down to one southbound lane between Queens Avenue and Dundas Street to facilitate some duct work. A pedestrian walkway has been maintained between the concrete barriers (shown below).

Doors Open London

Doors Open London is here and there are three Dundas Place addresses within the construction zone who are opening their doors to visitors this weekend. Head downtown to tour CBC London, London Music Hall, the Chisholm Building or one of our neighbours on King Street this weekend and be sure to tag @DundasPlace on Instagram.
