Tree planting and trick-or-treating

The crew was able to get started right away on the re-pour of concrete on the roadway east of Clarence Street. Early in the week, you may have noticed the crew working later into the evening in order to stay on track since we knew the rain was coming.

Crews not only made progress with concrete on the roadway, but also in the sidewalk area. The majority of the concrete on the north side of the block between Wellington Street and Clarence Street is now complete. Meanwhile, the crew is trying their best to get all of the duct work completed over at the intersection of Clarence and Dundas so it can be covered in concrete sooner than later.

Despite the steady rain on Wednesday and Thursday, we were still able to complete some important milestones like getting tree planting done across from Budweiser Gardens and east of Richmond Street.

We were thrilled to hear that the Downtown Candy Crawl was a hit, with more than one hundred trick-or-treaters making their way through the construction zone, down all four blocks of Dundas Place. We hope everyone enjoyed the treats, and the stops along the way!
